Using AdWords Compass

Creating a new project

When you first run AdWords Compass, it will automatically pop up a Wizard that will guide you through the process of creating a new project. You can also open this screen by clicking the New button on the main toolbar.

 

Step1: choose the google domain, language, location infromation to use.

 

Step2: Input keywords

 

 

 

Edit project

To do this go to prject list, select the project that you want edit and press Edit button on toolbar.

 

 

Delete project

To delete a project go go prject list, select the prject you want delte and press Delete button on toolbar.

 

 

 

Launch analysis task

You just need click Start Search button on toolbar to launch analysis task.

 

 

Export report

Click Export button on toolbar to export data into CSV or HTML report.

 

 

Configure AdWords Compass

Configuring General Settings

We need limit search depth to make analysis work faster and limit simultaneous connextions for safety. You can adjust the limitation in Option -> General page.

 

Browser emulation is an advanced feature of AdWords Compass that improves the safety of your work with Google. If you enable it, AdWords Compass will emulate the way browser behave when querying Google..

 

 

Configuring Proxy Settings

If you are using a direct Internet connection, you don't need to configure your proxy settings. However, if you are behind a proxy server, you need to specify your proxy address, port, username and password. If unsure, please contact your network administrator to obtain this information.

 

To access proxy configuration in AdWords Compass, choose Option > Proxy page... from toolbar.
